Happy Easter!

It's a beautiful weekend so far here in Southern Ontario.  I am hoping that the sunshine and warmer weather continues.  It it official that the only thing in my Easter basket will be a chocolate bunny, but I am hopeful that our official YES is just around the corner.  Our update for the week was that yes the bank negotiator has approved the sale of the home, but management still needs to sign off on it.  Maybe they'll get to it this week. 

My brother-in-law said to us this week that we must hold the record for the longest short sale.  It has been long but we are by no means the record holder. Our Realtor's longest was 18 months, we are officially sitting at 14 months, 5 days (not that I'm counting,lol).  I'll have to do some research on the Internet and see how long other people have waited.

I think I'm Stuck in Neutral!

Happy First day of Spring!  Although it still doesn't look or feel like it here in Southern Ontario.  I was snowing today and felt like -10 with the wind chill, brr!  As, I sit around waiting.. for a lot of things the house in Florida, Spring and some work! (very slow at work, excruciatingly so) I sort of feel stuck. 

I don't want to waste time doing tons of things for the house, because every time I do it feels like we end up taking several steps backwards.  I do my chores around the house but only half heatedly.  And I can't even get to excited about Easter as it seems to be creeping up on me too quickly this year.  I could day dream about a vacation but that is just a little to depressing....Sigh, I don't know what to do with myself. 

I will say that I've cleaned up my office.  It still looks a little like a small tornado went through in some places but I'll blame that on inadequate storage (at least that's my excuse).  I do have some scheduled work tomorrow so that will keep me busy but other than that I think I should get a move on finishing up some vacation home prep I started last week.

I need to finalise my insurance quotes.  I did think I was done that but I did get another referral so I thought I would check it out, just to be thorough!  Perhaps I'll harass my Realtor and nag them for an update. Or ask them to nag the lawyer for an update.  This time around I am definitely feeling frustrated with any delays. 

My last post on the new Dwellable apps was fun.  My kids are tickled pink that our Cat "Minnie" has made an appearance on the Dwellable blog and Facebook page.  They think that she is famous now. Hopefully Minnie won't let it go to her head, LOL! I hope you all have a great week.
