What do I mean by the title? Well, the casting producer we've been communicating with at House Hunters is pitching us to her higher ups tomorrow. Sounds funnier than it is! Over the weekend we had to make our audition video. It took us more than a few takes to get the initial part of the video done. We had to answer a number of questions and provide some information in only 5-7 minutes. It took some practise and 2 kids acting as directors to get it right.
After we did the above we had to tour 2 rooms in our home and say what we like or don't like. This was to see what we would be like touring homes. Hopefully we were enthusiastic enough! The final this we added to our video audition was the kids. The kids were funny, saying hi to the show and telling them why they are excited to be getting a house in Florida!
All this being done leaves us with not much to do on the house front! We are patiently waiting to hear something, anything! After the flurry of activity last week we are hoping that the bank it working towards an answer for us. We are really only days away from having to extend our short sale approval date, which would push the closing date to February. Arrgh, that's the last thing we want. I think I should ask Santa for a closing date!
It is a busy time of year for those of us celebrating holidays, and that is our saving grace right now. We're to busy to spend tons of time worrying or thinking about the house. Family visits, kids Christmas activities etc, etc. I hope all of you that are celebrating are taking time to enjoy everything going on. Have a great week!
