Still Waiting!

As the month of December comes to a close (can you believe it!), we are still waiting on an answer to our never ending short sale. It will be 11 months on the 26th, that's right 11 months. It's crazy! I don't think that we could have anticipated that it would take this long. We knew it could be that long, but I don't think we ever thought it would actually take that long.

Now that I've established how LONG this has taken, time for an update!.....Well, we really don't have anything new to report. After that flurry of activity 2 weeks ago, it's been very quiet, to quiet.  I know that the feeling is that things are close to a decision, but I wish they'd hurry up and just do it. Put us out of our misery!  Our Realtor's assistant, who's been great, says that she's been seeing activity on the sellers side of things but nothing for us.  I'm hoping all that activity is in our favour. I know that she is trying to push the negotiator for an update or an approval this week, because with the holidays upon us I don't expect much to happen after this week.

We did sign another short sale extension this week. I asked for it early to get it done before it became a rush.  So that's done and we're back to waiting, more waiting.

Oh, but I do have some info on our foray into reality television.  Our first audition video (yes I said first), showcased how energetic and great our kids were, we on the other hand were a bit boring.  If you know my husband, he is anything but boring and I myself love to talk! So we were a little disappointed, but by the grace of Pietown productions we were given a second shot at the video. And I'm happy to report that we did much better the second time around, much more ourselves. Now we just need a closing date and we'd be in business (maybe, we've had no guarantees but since we don't actually have a house to go to it's a moot point).

Hopefully I'll have an update to share before the holidays but I'm not holding my breath! So I will wish everyone a Wonderful Holiday Season whatever you might be celebrating!
