Things seem to be moving along as predicted in this whole short sale process. We got our latest update! I've spoken to our Realtor and the short sale negotiator, the BPO (brokers price opinion) is now completed and has been sent to the bank. Today the seller is requesting proof of funds from us again. So off to the bank I went to get a letter showing we had enough money to buy the property.
Our Realtor said that the process is moving along well, but even thought that's good it's still no guarantee that the sale will go through. The bank my have a counter offer. The actual counter may not actually be directed at us, but at the seller, but it will still require the seller to agree. We understand the whole process and the amount of time it may take but I still want to know the outcome. Can't wait and our fingers (and toes and anything else) are crossed.
I'm trying to think about what I can work on next to keep my mind busy. I'm thinking that I can start putting together a rental agreement. Get all the paperwork ready so we are ready to rent as soon as the keys are in our hands.
