It's been almost 4 weeks since the papers were signed. Even though we were fully aware of how these "short" sales work, I must admit that I'm getting a little anxious. Maybe anxious isn't the right word. I'd like to have an update!
The update has been requested and we were supposed to hear something on Friday. Well it's now Saturday night and I'm not expecting to hear anything until next week. In the mean time it's amazing to see that a lot of the inventory of houses in the resort community we're buying in have been purchased or are in the process of being purchased. So hopefully everything goes as planned, since there may not be another option if it doesn't go through.
In addition to the whole "waiting game" I must say I think I'm just excited to go to Florida and hang out in this wonderful community. The kids were definitely excited when we told them about the on-site movie theatre, the big pool, playground and games room at the club house. Amazing to think that in a few short months we could have access to it all.
