This past weekend another step on our journey got underway. The Internet plays such a big role in our lives that we need to make sure that when (and if ) we get the house that we're in a position to market it to as wide an audience as possible. In order to do that we need a website! Watching it grow and change will be a new experience, lucky for us we have a good friend who's building it for us.
The challenge for this step of the journey is making sure that we get the right information on the website. Some of the obvious things that we need to have are a picture gallery, information about the house, rates and availability. What I'm not a hundred percent on is what other information to include. Should we have information on area activities (ie golf, theme parks, shopping). As you're reading this if you have something you would want to see on a website for a vacation home, leave us a comment. Every suggestion is appreciated.
I posted the floor plan on the right side of the blog yesterday. It is a great layout, with lots of room for one or two families. As you can see each bedroom has the size of bed listed except for bedroom 4. This room presently has 2 twin beds. What we plan to do eventually is have bunk beds in this room, preferable with a double bed on the bottom and a twin on top. I've read different opinions on bunk beds, but I think it's great option if someone has a family with more than two kids!
I feel like a producer of a movie, doing all the behind the scenes work and hoping that everything turns out the way you planned. That's my thoughts for the day! Have a great week everyone!
